The Gossip:
1) Paul and the McCartney folks all appeared for the exclusive eyeing of Linda McCartney’s A Life In Photographs, where Paul was looking à la mode buttoning himself in a black suit corresponding with Vans canvas plimsolls.
2) The hardback holds a guesstimated 200,000 images including iconic images of Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and, of course, The Beatles. But also comprises unseen snaps of the McCartney's raising Heather, James, Mary and Stella. Ogle at Stella's pins below!
3) A miffed Mary broke her silence yesterday making known “She [Linda] didn’t self-promote or do lots of interviews, she never blew her own trumpet, and so she was often pigeonholed as a celebrity who dabbled in photography, which isn’t how it was at all. People didn’t realise that it was through her photography career that Mum and Dad met and that she was a photographer way before she had a family with Dad. But she wasn’t that bothered about what other people thought about her, it’s more probably us, her kids, who got irritated.”
