1) Striving to jack-up the awareness of using wild animals in circuses was a beastly brushed Chantelle Houghton at Westminster’s Houses of Parliament yesterday morning.
2) The former Big Brother participant was adorned with tiger body paint posing for the PETA protest clutching a sign that read “The Cruellest Show on Earth – Ban Wild Animal Circuses”
3) The 27 year-old’s actions came before tomorrow’s debate in Parliament a propos tiger and other wild animals spending vast majority of time in confined cages when in circuses.
4) At the eye-opening campaign yesterday, Houghton acknowledged “Forcing wild animals to spend their lives in cages or performing meaningless tricks is shockingly cruel. The government’s failure to implement a ban flies in the face of overwhelming public opinion, the recommendations of the British Veterinary Association and the position of every major animal welfare group in the country.”
